Q & A with Lakshmi:
Q: Why did you choose to become a veterinary technician?
A: I would like hands on experience in the field to help me decide if I want to apply to vet school. I love supporting doctors and being able to get cuddles in with our furry friends!

- Graduated from the University of Delaware with a B.S. in Pre-Veterinary Medicine and Animal Biosciences.
- One year of vet tech experience as an ER technician at VCA Newark.

Q: Are you thinking about becoming licensed?
A: I would consider getting licensed if vet school is not the path for me.
Q: Why did you apply to Longwood Veterinary Center?
A: I had heard great things about the quality of medicine and how well the staff works together. I also heard that openings were far and few between here. So when I made the decision to move to PA, I knew I had to apply here.
