Our Veterinary Clinic Nursing Staff

Aaliyah

Aaliyah worked in the veterinary field for 18 years before joining the Longwood veterinary clinic team in January of 2010. She graduated from Delaware State University with a Pre-Veterinary Science degree in 2000. She does a variety of jobs in the hospital, providing nursing care, assisting with appointments and procedures, and serves as a receptionist at the front desk. She enjoys watching football, traveling, and is active in her church.

Alisa

Alisa joined LVC in June of 2012. Prior to becoming a Licensed Veterinary Technician, she worked as a canine obedience instructor. Alisa has a degree in Environmental Studies from Temple University. When she is not working at our veterinary clinic, Alisa enjoys working out, beach days, and hiking with her husband, daughter, and dog, Fiona.

Andrea

Andrea joined the veterinary clinic team of Longwood Veterinary Center in October 2010. She has a special interest in dentistry, radiology. She is the manager of our Canine Blood Donor program. She lives in Chester County with her husband, son, the best dog in the world, Mongo, and her three cats.

Ashley

Ashley has been a veterinary clinic team member at Longwood since 2007. She has a special interest in anesthesia. Ashley shares her home with her family, an English Bulldog named Ramona and a Maine Coon named Penny Layne.

Christin

Christin is a veterinary technician from Bucks County. She joined the LVC team in August of 2023. Her career in the field began in 2004 when she started as an assistant  at an exotic pet specialty hospital in Connecticut. In her free time Christin enjoys karate classes with her husband and 7 yr old son. She also loves anything cat-related.

Dana Mc

Dana Mc graduated from Harcum College in 1996 and is a licensed veterinary technician. She began working for our veterinary clinic nursing staff in 2020 after a varied and interesting career as an emergency and critical care nurse, later specializing in internal medicine while assisting a board-certified veterinary internist. Dana loves nursing internal medicine cases, especially diabetics. In fact, she shares her home with her husband, two young daughters, and their beloved geriatric and diabetic cat, Tiger.

Emily

Emily has been at LVC since September of 2013. She completed her degree in Veterinary Technology beginning at Harcum College and graduating from DTCC. At LVC, she loves the challenge of working with fearful kitties. She enjoys gardening and time spent with her husband Glenn, children, dogs, cats, bunnies, pet pig and chickens.

Heather

Heather has worked at Longwood since 2006. She received her associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology from Harcum College. She enjoys providing nursing care to all our wonderful patients and is a skilled dental technician. Heather shares her home with her son, Gavin, and a handsome dog named Mickey Mouse. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and playing soccer and basketball with her son.

Jen

Jen has been a veterinary nurse since 1998. She has experience in emergency medicine and general practice. Jen has a special interest in anesthesia and post-op anesthetic care. She enjoys spending time with her family and pets.

Katherine

Katherine joined LVC as a Veterinary Nurse in 2020, with a primary interest in surgery and anesthesia. Before joining Longwood, she gained experience in medical oncology and emergency services. Katherine began her veterinary career in 2016 and earned her Veterinary Nursing degree from Harcum College in 2019. Outside of work, she enjoys life on her farm and tending to her little homestead.

Lisa H.

Lisa is a certified veterinary technician and has been with the Longwood veterinary clinic team since 2002. She obtained her BS, CVT in Veterinary Technology from Mount Ida College in 2003. Lisa has a fondness for cats and is particularly interested in anything that pertains to feline wellness. She also has a special interest and advanced training in small animal nutrition. Lisa shares her home with her husband, two children and four orange cats she affectionately calls "The Ginger Crew". She loves Disney, travelling and spending time in the Poconos with her family.

Loraine

Loraine joined our veterinary clinic team in October of 2011 after she and her husband, Larry, moved to their Chester County farm. She enjoys all aspects of patient care. In her spare time, she enjoys hunting, gardening, horseback riding, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Megan

Megan has been apart of our veterinary clinic nursing staff at Longwood since 2004. She earned her degree in Early Childhood Education at Delaware Technical College and her degree in Veterinary Technology at Harcum College. Megan has a strong interest in veterinary dentistry. Megan shares her home with her husband, daughter, dog (a loveable Mastiff named Alphonse), and cats. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and pets, reading and visiting her favorite city, Savannah, Georgia.

Terry

Terry has worked part-time for our veterinary clinic nursing staff at Longwood since 1998. She received her PA veterinary technician’s license in 1985. Terry helps provide overnight ICU care for critical cases. Terry enjoys photography and spending time with her husband and cats.

Nikki

Nikki graduated from the University of Delaware in 2021 with a pre vet degree and continued to get her veterinary technician license in 2025. She is focused on shelter medicine and enjoys fostering medical cases in her free time. While taking courses towards her license, she started shadowing here at Longwood Vet and decided to work here part time to dabble in private practice medicine.

Lauren

Lauren has been a veterinary technician at Longwood Veterinary Center since 2020 and graduated from University of Delaware in 2022 with a degree in Animal Science. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, and hanging out with her cat, Cow, in Philadelphia.

Hannah

Hannah received her BS in Pre-Veterinary Medicine from the University of Delaware in 2026. She joined LVC in August of 2025 as an exam nurse and will be transitioning to a full-time position during her gap year. After her gap year, she hopes to attend veterinary school. Outside of work, Hannah enjoys baking and spending time with her rabbit, Fawn.
